yeah....i said it! im THAT annoyed with ashley furniture that im just going to change their name. which why do they call it ashley furniture anyway? did some guy name it after his wife or something? lame. anyways back to what i was originally going to talk about....

i got a text this afternoon from dane saying that the couch we ordered is going to be pushed back to the middle of the month. ummm no! i dont think so. not okay. dane and i move into our new apartment on the 8th. we currently don't have a couch because we sold it this past weekend. please picture dane and i sitting in our living room with his gaming chair and 2 computer chairs. yeah! doesn't exactly scream front cover of home and garden magazine.


so i call the store to ask why the delivery is being delayed. they don't have any information. i have to call the customer service dept. well i do, push 0 for the operator and what happens?

"the operator is not available" click. yeah! click! THEY HANG UP ON ME!!

so i call back the store and they give me another customer service number. i am then on hold for 45 mins! i FINALLY get ahold of someone and she is ruuuuuuuuude! pretty much she just wants to tell me "get over it". anyways...long story short they agreed to have us come into the store and possibly pick out a new couch around the same price range that will be delivered when we need it. we pick the same couch but in a different color. here is the weird thing....we can get it quicker if we have them deliver it instead of us picking it up. of course. the guy says he can "cut us a deal" but charging us for delivery but he will only charge us half price. so now your telling me not only did you mess up...but i have to pay more to fix it? you freaking suck!
