two things...

1) i am really really missing home! im missing pretty weather. im missing our families. im missing the feeling of being home. i know that dane and i have lived in flagstaff for almost 2 years now but nothing beats the feeling of when dane and i pull into san marcos and we both look at each other and go "aaaaaaaaaah!". its who we are. we ARE southern california people. we just are. don't get me wrong i do love the life we have up here. we have met some pretty awesome people while being here and have had some great experiences. i just miss.....i dunno. i miss when maddy and i would make a quick beach run and than on the way home stop by noodles & co. and complain about what fattys we were for eating so much. i miss hearing dane and his brother compete about....well everything. its freaking adorable! i miss my dad. i miss freeways....real ones. not these lame 2 lane highways joke. i miss knowing where EVERYTHING was in town. i miss our old friends. i love our new ones but still miss the old ones that we barely get to see because dane and i are only home for like 2 days whenever we do go back. i guess what im saying is words can't describe how excited i am to go back for 4th of july!


number 2.....


i am the mushiest person ever these past couple days! it's like all i want to do is sleep in, wake up with dane, stay in bed & watch netflix and eat in bed. in that order btw. all i want to do is spend time with him. i find myself excited during work to work out when i get home and than the second i do...all i want is to cuddle with him on the couch or make dinner together. tonight i got kind of sad when he had to leave for work. its weird. maybe its the newlywed vibe kicking in? maybe i just have such an awesome husband that i want to be with him 24/7?? well i mean i do have an awesome husband haha but i guess im more curious to why now i feel this way? is it the new apartment? is it we finally live alone? who knows.


i guess to sum it up....i love california and i love dane lol
