memorial weekend

dane and i went home for memorial weekend. it was...eventful to say the least. the best thing about it was celebrating the handsome hubby's 23rd birthday. old man? absolutely.

dane & his brothers & his dad went to the padre game. poor boys can never go anywhere without getting a mini photo shoot before they leave.

         ...the usual.

&& than it was time to give dane part 1 of his gift!

i would L O V E to take credit for making this cake...but i can't. my fabulous co-worker julie does them on the side and was nice enough to let me put an order in. i was so happy it came out great!

than it was off to my family's bbq. dane and i had WAY to much fun with the bubbles.

no joke...we did this for about 20 mins lol

sadly there was some not so great stuff happen, but we wont go into that. i can't wait for our next weekend home for the 4th! :)
