ringing in the new year

yes yes i know! new years isn't for awhile but i am feeling a little anxiety that we don't have anything planned or even an idea yet. normally dane and i (for the past 3 or 4 years now) go over to the pavones and play bunco with dane's parents and mostly the pavone's family friends. now i do enjoy this don't get me wrong. its just i dunno....we are the youngest ones there. everyone else has been married awhile and or has kids.

so when our adorable newlywed friends craig and billie joe suggested we go to VEGAS with them for NYE i was more than psyched! but sadly those plans have kind of withered away. so now what? i am determined to have a new years never to forget.

here is the problem: in my extensive googling... it seems like the only thing to do on new years eve is go to some fancy club and spend way to much on a cover fee in a crowded bar. normally i would see i'm in! lol but dane is not exactly a $22 beer-dancing to lady gaga-crowded vip room kind of guy. now luckily austin and maddy don't have plans either so we can get a group together. i am in listing all my avid readers (and by avid i mean the 4 of you that actually read this thing) to help me! i know it sounds cheesy but this is our first new years eve as newlyweds and i really want it to be fun.
