Final Walk-Through

Day 114

We are in the FINAL DAYS here people!! Things were a little slow around the holidays with the builders crew but they sure have made up for the lost time quickly.

We brought the kids to the house over their christmas break and they decided to show Dane & I where they would sleep when they come to visit.

We came across this back splash overlay at home depot a few weeks ago and i fell in LOVE with it! The rest of it however, not so much. Luckily we found that you can buy them separately so we were back in business! With a few swapping changes we finally came up with a combo we really really liked.  

We bought 1 sq. ft just to see how it would look with the cabinets/countertops and thank goodness it matches perfectly!! We will go back and purchase the rest in the next few weeks so we can finish the rest of the kitchen.

TODAY WAS THE FINAL WALK-THROUGH!!!

We met with Tommy our Project Manager and he walked around with us to show how everything has been completed and to show us a few tricks with our new appliances.

He then gave us each some green tape and told us to GO TO TOWN!! So we marked every. single. possible. thing that we wanted perfect before we close.

Which brings me to my next order of business….

WE WILL BE CLOSING THIS FRIDAY 

@ 3:30PM!!!!

IN LESS THAN 48 HOURS WE WILL BE HOME OWNERS!!!

I think i am just a little excited….maybe.
