my parentals
i know that i have totally been sucking at life not updating. i promise all you avid readers (lol yeah right.) i will be better about it. so let's get to it!
i am one happy girl. my parents were here this past weekend and it was soooo good to see them. i had like 25 things planned to do/places to see and of course my daddy says "no...let's just get some pizza and hang out here" so we did. i made dinner friday night and stuffed their faces! than saturday we literally did nothing but hang out and watch movies. sunday dane took my dad down to phoenix to a diamondbacks game while i stayed home and hung out with my mom. it was really nice to spend some time with her. the boys came back later than day and we spent the rest of the night watching comedy specials on netflix. dane and i have officially made my dad a daniel tosh fan. before i knew it, it was time for them to leave :(
...but it's okay because they promised they would come visit us the start of next year so they could see some snow. i kind of forgot how much i really missed them. i know i get to see them when we come home for holidays but dane and i are so busy trying to see our family and friends and run erronds in the 3 days we get to be home we never get enough time.
bonus: dane's parents will be here next weekend!! we went 2 years living in flagstaff with nobody visiting us and now this will be the 3rd visit we have gotten this year from a friend or family member. i hope this trend continues....we really enjoy having guests over and showing them the life we've built over the past 2 years. so consider this an open invite :)
