covering up a murder

while dane and i watched mystic river (me for the first time) an odd moment happened to us. 

long story short there is a part at the end of the movie where the wife condones what her husband has done (killing his friend) and is disgusted that the friends wife was the one who rated him out. i turn to dane to explain that i agreed with the crazy killers wife. that if i had found out he killed someone that you wouldn't hear a peep out of me to anyone. he then turns back to me and says..

"exactly. i completely agree with you"

in some crazy twisted "criminal minds" way...i felt loved haha.
